The purpose of this chapter is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of Plymouth High School.

Every year, our chapter must adopt a service project that the members feel passionately about. This school year we volunteer to tutor at the after school program in an effort to promote scholarship within the school.

We also celebrate teachers. We realize that our success is determined by the talented teachers who give so much to us. Each six weeks, we select a teacher who demonstrates the qualities of a excellence. At the end of the year, we name the Teacher of Excellence” for the year. There is a plaque that hangs in the front hallway with all the teacher’s names.

We created the teacher Spirit Days. Teachers donate $2.00 to wear jeans on Fridays. The money is donated to United Way.

We also serve as hosts for the three parent teacher conferences.
